Acceleration Through Innovation have recently announced their second Pop-up Innovation Centre location in Cornwall. Opening in January 2018, the centre will be open in Launceston Town Centre for three months for businesses in Launceston and the surrounding areas. As the Cornish market town continues to thrive, the centre will be an opportunity for growing small-medium enterprises to utilise the available meeting room space, Wi-Fi and engage with Business Innovation Advisors in a one to one setting.

Acceleration Through Innovation is a £3 million ERDF funded project led by the University of Plymouth in partnership with Cornwall Innovation. The project drives a culture of innovation, supporting businesses who are looking to adopt innovative processes or who have aspirations to bring a new product or service to the market.

Jo Hancock; Senior Project Manager for Acceleration Through Innovation stated “We are really pleased to be bringing our second Pop-up Innovation Centre to Launceston following the success in Bodmin in the last quarter. We are looking forward to welcoming a series of engaging speakers over the next couple of months, with the first being Phil Ugalde – Company Chairman of Proper Cornish at the Innovation Club.”

“ATI will be delivering the centres on behalf of Cornwall Innovation allowing businesses in the far reach of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to access the facilities of three centres located in Tremough, Pool and Truro.” Bernard Curren, Innovation Lead at the University of Plymouth.

The Pop-up Innovation Centre will be located in 2-4 Castle Street until the end of March 2018 following the official opening on Thursday 11th January.
