Fifth Pop-up Innovation Centre opens in Newquay

23 November 2018

Open until February 2019, the fifth Pop-up Innovation Centre has opened in Newquay. Delivered by Acceleration Through Innovation (ATI) the Pop-up Innovation Centres are a unique opportunity for small-medium sized enterprises in Newquay to access business advice, hot desking and funding support.

Located at Mor Workspace, near Treloggan Industrial Estate, the centre will host a number of events for local businesses covering topics such as intellectual property, project management and funding. With space for events, hot desking and meetings, the Pop-up Innovation Centre will allow businesses to work remotely amongst other businesses creating networking opportunities and a community.

The Mayor of Newquay, Andy Hannan expressed his delight at the Pop-up Innovation Centre launch breakfast and stated the importance of centres like this centre in the area. “Pop-up Innovation Centres are a great opportunity for the businesses in the surrounding areas to access fully funded support and grow their business”.

ATI Pop-up Centre Coordinator Adrienne Silcock-Jones added; “Following four successful Pop-up Innovation Centres across Cornwall, we’re delighted to be here in Newquay and are thankful for the support received from the town. We have a lot of activity planned for the winter months here”.

Businesses interested in using the space are encouraged to contact ATI to find out how they can benefit from this space.

Eleanor Stack from Mor Workspace commented “We’re so excited to have the Newquay Pop-up Innovation Centre with us for four months, it’s a great opportunity for businesses at Mor as well the surrounding areas”.
