During the intensive support for your business, bringing an innovation project to life, together we may identify a need for some financial assistance in taking that next step.
We may be able to help you with The Innovation Grant Fund. It is part of the ATI2 Programme and we have £500,000 to allocate to qualifying Cornish SME businesses.
- Small grants of up to £1,500 (no contribution required from the business – but limited funds available under this arrangement)
- Standard grants £2,500 to £25,000 at 50% intervention – meaning the business has to match £ for £ agreed eligible costs* (typical grant size expected to be c.£12,000)
Examples of eligible project costs could be:
- IP (Intellectual Property) costs such as patent fees, trademarking
- Proof of concept
- Process change
- Bringing a new product to market
The funding cannot be used towards “business as usual” or financing stock or working capital.
Please note though that this is not a standalone grant fund and businesses can only apply once they have fully engaged with the ATI2 Programme and a well formulated innovation project has been developed by the applicant and the ATI2 Business Innovation Advisor.
For more details please register your interest.
*the business will have to be able to fund the Project in its entirety and will claim back 50% of eligible costs under a standard claims process. Ability to be able to fund the project will be tested during the application stage.
